There are many micro-districts with no kindergartens and schools at all. Currently about 100 kindergartens as well as 60 schools need to be built to meet demand in Ulaanbaatar alone. According to the State Special Inspection Agency, the rnumber of schools and kindergartens required cannot be built within such a short period of time and some schools are going to be torn down to make way for new ones. Public School Number 3 is going to be torn down and a school with a capacity of over 2500 students will be built in its place. Students who study at schools scheduled for demolition will be transferred to schools where they have space. In total there are about 30 schools that need to be torn down.
