I finally reached my master degree |

In recognition of the 100th anniversary of diplomatic service in Mongolia the International Chess Tournament, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Mongolian Chess Federation, and the Mongolian Forum of the World under the name of Chin Van M.Khanddorj was held from December 5 to 11. Over 120 chess-players from Mongolia, Russia, Kazakhstan, and China participated in this year’s tournament. International master and Mongolian chess-player Ts.Batchuluun won the tournament. He was interviewed by Capital Times newspaper. Below is the translation.
Q: Congratulations on your master degree. Here’s to your success. A: Thank you very much. I am really satisfied that I reached my goal this year. I’m very happy. Now that I’ve reached my master degree, I’m waiting on the world’s chess conference. I had chance to win master degree in 2007 but I couldn’t received my master degree. All of the participants were very strong and they have all reached in the master degree.
Q: How long have you been training in this sport? A: I have been training this sport since I was five years old. My first teacher was Nyamdorj teacher of Khorshoolol Association. Now I have been working with P.Jigjidsuren since I was fourteen. Comparing the other sports chess is the most independent sport and during competition, I spend a lot of time observing my competitor’s technique. I suppose this could be considered training as well. Q: Tell us about your most memorable win? A: When I was participated in the adult competition and won Azerbaijan’s master competition which was held in Torina. This was my most memorable win. Q; What is your opinion on Mongolian chess-players? A: Mongolian chess-players are really proficient , especially female chess-players B.Munguntuul, A.Enkhtuul and D.Nomin-Erdene. Q: What is advantage of chess? A: Playing chess makes a person more patient, which is important in life.
